£80m invested in villages across Caerphilly County Borough

 

Almost £80 million of public money has been spent on villages across Caerphilly County Borough, the council has revealed.

The sum, revealed in a council report and spanning ten years has gone on regeneration projects.

Charity helps Caerphilly Wheelchair Basketball Club

Caerphilly Wheelchair Basketball Club has been given four new chairs by a charity.

The Lord’s Taverners Wales Region was donated the new equipment as part of their three year investment into developing wheelchair basketball in Wales.

Plaid Cymru’s Vera Jenkins and Keith Lloyd have appealed to riders of off-road and quad bikes not to use the area near the Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate.

The Boundary Commission for Wales has proposed cutting the number of Welsh MPs’ seats from 40 to 30, with the names and sizes of constituencies being changed.
