Caerphilly’s Megaday a success despite rain
This year’s Megaday is estimated to have raised £15,000 despite heavy rain affecting the event. The annual music festival is held each year at Caerphilly Rugby Club’s Virginia Park ground in memory of local musicians Andrew Nichols and Paul Grahame, who both lost their lives to cancer. |

Llanbradach teen driver killed in car crash
A 17-year-old driver from Llanbradach has been killed in a car crash on the A468 at Caerphilly. Gwent Police are appealing for witnesses after a Renault Clio and a Ford Ka were involved in the crash at about 9.35pm on Monday. |
