Children’s Commissioner visits Caerphilly Youth Forum

 

The Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Keith Towler, visited the Caerphilly Youth Forum Conference, held at the Maes Manor recently.

The Commissioner started proceedings with his opening speech and stayed all day working together with youngsters from the forum to discuss their issues and views.

X-Factor Lloyd survives public vote

 

Treharris’s Lloyd Daniels will be on the X-Factor next week after surviving a public vote.

The former Lewis School pupil was in the bottom two on Sunday night’s show, alongside Rachel Adedeji, after receiving the fewest public votes.

Lloyd was suffering from a sore throat and was hardly able to speak let alone sing.
