Clothing collection companies prosecuted by Caerphilly Council

 

Two clothing collection companies have been prosecuted for unlicensed collections in Caerphilly County Borough.

Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Trading Standards department took the two companies, Hand of Help UK Ltd and Alra Clothing Ltd to court after they distributed charity clothing collection bags unlicensed.

Next phase of Ystrad Mynach road improvements to start

 

The next phase of roadworks in Ystrad Mynach is due to start on January 14.

From that date, motorists travelling westbound on the A472 from Maesycwmmer towards Ystrad Mynach will not be able to access the Cwm Du roundabout.
