Owner of Hafodyrynys Inn fined for underage alcohol sale

 

The owner of a pub has been fined for allowing the sale of alcohol to a 14-year-old.

Thomas John Davies, of the Hafodyrynys Inn, Hafodyrynys, was taken to court after a 14-year-old was served with two bottles of vodka-based WKD Blue at the pub in February 2012.

Risca man in court over armed raid at Pentwynmawr takeaway

 

A third man has appeared in court charged over the robbery of an Indian takeaway in Pentwynmawr.

Jacob Lee Loisz, 19, of Quantock Close, Risca, appeared at Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court on Wedneday charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.
