Caerphilly Friends of the Earth has organised a sow and grow event to encourage people to grow their own fruit and veg.

Taking place at the Twyn Community Centre in Caerphilly town on Saturday February 18 between 10am and 1pm, local gardening groups will have plants and seeds to sell.

Caerphilly FOE also hope to have speakers on gardening-related topics, including bee-keeping. Some garden produce will be for sale, maybe even compost bins.

If you already grow your own vegetables and have good quality, surplus seeds from last year, please bring them along.

Refreshments available, entry to the event is free.
