Empowering & Enabling Disabled Adults and Carers
“Can Do” is the name chosen by people with Disabilities and their Carers to emphasise their positive attitude to living within a
‘normal’ society to the best of their abilities.
As an organisation we are user led and the services we deliver have very much been shaped by Disabled adults and their Carers
themselves. We deliver FREE Information and Independent Community Advocacy Services, and promote volunteering opportunities.
Many of our services are Volunteer delivered. We also provide this client group with a voice in their local community and beyond in
order to improve their quality of life. We raise awareness of their needs, campaign for better service provision, and changes in policy.

Form Filling Support
The Welfare Benefits system has undergone a drastic change over the last year. As a result, calls to our Information Service regarding benefits has greatly increased.
Our Form Filling clinic, offers the opportunity to discuss any issues you may have surrounding benefits. Our trained Form Fillers are able to help you to complete forms for DLA, Attendance Allowance, Carers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance.

Carers Coffee & Chat
