Lindsay Whittle, Leader of Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Lindsay Whittle was born in Caerphilly in 1953 and lives in Abertridwr. Lindsay has stood for Plaid in many elections and is leader of Plaid Cymru on Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is his seventh time standing in a Parliamentary election for the constituency. Will it be seventh heaven for Whittle?

He has worked as a housing manager in Cardiff for twenty-five years and is a committed campaigner for high housing standards.

His political interests include housing, although he is also concerned with living standards for the elderly and homelessness.

In his spare time, Lindsay enjoys gardening and exploring local history. He is also an ardent rugby fan.
