Caerphilly AM backs mobile breast cancer screening

A new initiative from the Welsh Assembly Government has announced £1 million of funding for new state-of-the-art mobile breast screening units.

Caerphilly AM Jeff Cuthbert said: “I am very pleased with the increase in breast screening units throughout Wales.”

“There are currently two units in Caerphilly town and Ystrad Mynach which have proved to be extremely successful and due to this scheme another will be operating in Bargoed from next month.”
