The damage at Caerphilly bus and train station

Four ornamental trees were destroyed in an arson attack at Caerphilly bus station.

The arson attack happened during the early hours of Sunday October 20.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said four ornamental trees were set alight on a platform at Caerphilly railway station, which then spread to the bus station shelter.

A crew from Caerphilly fire station attended and put the fire out at 4.59am.
