Calzaghe out of TV’s Strictly Come Dancing

Former world champion boxer Joe Calzaghe has been knocked out of TV’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Calzaghe and dance partner Kristina Rihanoff were beaten in the dance-off in last night’s show by actress Zoe Lucker and her partner James Jordan.

The Newbridge star said: “It’s the way it goes. It’s been a great experience.

“It’s been fantastic.”

Ms Rihanoff added: “It’s been amazing to teach someone like him and I’m so lucky to have him as my partner.”

There are now 11 couples left in the BBC One show.
